The 2 major benefits of Noggin are:

  • It inhibits BMP (our own growth factor) which stops the destruction of hair follicle. Noggin stops Testosterone from converting into DHT. Noggin also promotes hair growth and stops the depigmentation of hair.

  • It strengthens the hair whilst stimulating the hair follicles to produce healthier hair, and also helps the blood circulation in the scalp which revitalises the hair follicles.

bFGF (Basic fibroblast Growth Factor) bFGF helps blood circulation  in the scalp and revitalises hair follicles.

IGF-1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor) IGF-1 strengthens hair whilst stimulating  the hair follicles to produce a strong hair shaft.

VEGF (Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor) VEGF stimulates hair growth by facilitating  the nutrient feeding to the hair follicle. This process is done by VEGF induced angiogenesis (new blood vessels forming from pre-existing  vessels).

SCF (Stem Cell Factor) Delivering SCF to the base of the hair follicle, it helps to strengthen hair whilst stimulating  the hair follicle to produce a strong hair shaft.  This is the growth factor which produces pigment. SCF creates a physiological change in the hair; not giving it a “dye”.

KGF-2 (Keratinocyte Growth Factor) KGF-2 stimulates capillaries and encourages the inner lining of the blood vessels to develop and maintain therefore getting the cells to grow and increase production  (endothelial cell migration and proliferation). KGF-2 also encourages quicker growth of follicles.

In Summary, Growth Factors:

  • Produce stronger hair

  • Produce thicker hair

  • Increase blood supply to the scalp

  • Return pigment/colour to the hair

  • Create entirely new hair

  • Stop our own Growth Factors from sending signals to the follicle to stop it from growing

Why Our Hair Needs Steam

1. Opening of the pores: Clogged pores in the scalp slow down--and eventually stop--the regrowth process. Steaming the hair and scalp on a regular basis will allow the toxins from the scalp to be released so that it can be cleansed and purified.

2. Balancing the Scalp: Along with purifying the scalp of the toxins within, steam therapy helps increase the collagen production and blood flow of the scalp. The collagen level and increased blood flow, resulting in a healthy naturally shiny scalp--not the kind of shine caused by synthetic styling products.

3. Improves Elasticity: The elasticity of curly strands is its ability to stretch without snapping and causing further breakage and damage to the strands. Steam treatments allow the hair to absorb so much moisture that the curls will be able to bend and stretch.
